Sophia is a lawyer working across our transactions teams.

Sophia has experience drafting documents for mergers and acquisitions transactions, including subscription agreements, company constitutions and shareholders agreements along with preparing capital raising documents for businesses looking to grow. Sophia is honing her commercial problem-solving skills through understanding the strategic goals of our clients and assisting them in reaching their objectives by reviewing and drafting bespoke documents such as terms and conditions, supply agreements, services agreements, and privacy policies.

Sophia’s most recent work includes:

  • Advising an Australian business on their obligations in collecting privacy information of individuals in Europe, and establishing contractual and commercial arrangements to collect individual’s data and subsequently transfer this information;
  • Involvement in capital raise deal teams for a social impact fund, and for a technological start-up;
  • Commercial advice for Australia’s largest online beauty retailer; and
  • Involvement in preparing the due diligence report for a pre-IPO.

Having studied Company Law in the United Kingdom, at the School of Business and Social Sciences in Denmark, and with a Bachelor of International Development, Sophia brings a diverse perspective to the work that she produces for clients.

Sophia has personal experience in corporate governance as a director of an incorporated association and, outside of work, Sophia is engaged in the community through her involvement in a university alumni committee and a not-for-profit organisation supporting young Australians.
