Sarah Chia


A feisty persona, excellent technical ability and sharp negotiating skills define Sarah to a tee. Her strength lies in advising on business and company acquisitions and divestments.

Don’t let Sarah’s diminutive stature fool you. Although she responds to the nickname ‘Mini’ at Kain Lawyers, her passion for law and feistiness on behalf of clients belie the name.

As a leader within our M+A practice, Sarah has spent the past 12 years honing her M+A skills, developing a particular expertise in business and company disposals and share acquisitions.

Sarah is renowned for her sharp negotiating skills and her ability to meet even the toughest of deadlines. Clients like working with Sarah because she calls a spade a spade, isn’t afraid to make tough decisions and, above all, she delivers.

She sits on the Board of Golf Australia and is on the committee of the Royal Adelaide Golf Club.
