Six members of SA-based legal consulting company Kain C+C Lawyers have today been listed in the peer review legal profession publication Best Lawyers.

For more than three decades Best Lawyers has earned the respect of the legal profession as the most reliable, unbiased source of legal referrals.  It is now published in 70 countries.

Kain C+C founder and managing director John Kain is included in the new listing for his work in mergers and acquisitions law, private equity law and venture capital law.

Colleague Gerry Cawson, was recognised as Adelaide’s mergers and acquisitions ‘Lawyer of the Year’ as well as being recognised for his work in leveraged buyouts, commercial law, corporate law, private equity and venture capital law.

“While our team members have been recognised in similar national listings in the past, this recognition by Best Lawyers is especially satisfying for us,” says Mr Kain.

“Since our beginning 10 years ago we have driven our growth by consciously building market leading technical depth.  The breadth of these latest listings acknowledges this continuing growth and the depth of technical talent right across our team.  We intend to continue to grow that market leading capability.”

Lawyers from Kain C+C were recognised as leaders across 13 different disciplines, including Marc Romaldi (tax), Sallie Emmett (labour and employment law), and Tim Hall and James Frearson-Lea (both planning and environment law).
