Madelaine Donovan

As an emerging disputes lawyer, Madelaine is articulate and diligent and clients can count on her to provide timely, effective and commercial legal work.

Madelaine joined Kain Lawyers in 2015 as a graduate lawyer. Her strong background in law was augmented through experience across the full spectrum of our practice areas before she specialised in disputes.

Madelaine is a fearless advocate for our clients both in and outside the courtroom and has experience in both complex and large matters. Her measured approach is focused on achieving the commercial resolution clients want, not one dictated by lawyers.

Madelaine is an honours law graduate of Bond University; throughout her studies she excelled at negotiation, culminating in her invitation and attendance at the 2013 Harvard WorldMUN Conference. Prior to joining us, Madelaine was the Associate to Judge Kuenyehia, the President of the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court.

Madelaine is always keen to take up new challenges: in the past year, she has survived shark cage diving and completed a True Grit obstacle course.
