Madelaine is a lawyer in our disputes team. She applies a considered approach in order to achieve client-focused solutions.
Madelaine’s practice is centred on resolving commercial disputes. She distinguishes herself by critically analysing the factors at play to recommend strategy, rather than following rote litigious steps.
Since her admission, Madelaine’s experience has encompassed informal negotiation, conciliation, mediation and litigation in both State and Federal Courts. She is a measured advocate, having both instructed counsel and appeared before Court.
Madelaine enjoys tackling complex matters of law and fact and has particular interests in construction and cross-border disputes.
Her knowledge of back-end litigation and dispute work is invaluable in providing front-end advice to clients; blending commercial pragmatism with her knowledge of the approach taken by courts.
Prior to joining us, Madelaine was the Associate to the President of the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court.
