Freya Sinickas

Associate Director

Accessible, practical and passionate, Freya provides clear, commercial advice for her clients

Freya enjoys getting to know her client’s business – what their key concerns are and how they like to operate. This has seen her become the trusted advisor to a number of local and interstate businesses on their day-to-day commercial issues.

With a particular passion for privacy law, Freya is skilled to advise businesses in relation to their collection and use of personal data under Australian law and under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This knowledge is vital in advising commercial clients as personal data can be a business’s most valuable asset.

As an Associate Director in the commercial team, Freya regularly drafts, negotiates and advises on a wide range of commercial and property documents, including supply and distribution agreements, construction contracts, services agreements, property leasing, software licences and SaaS agreements. Freya also often drafts customer-facing documents including terms and conditions, privacy policies and credit applications.

Working with clients on a day-to-day basis, Freya appreciates the client’s need for advice to be provided on time, on budget and with minimal disruption to the client’s business.

Outside of the law, Freya enjoys giving back to the community, having sat on the board of two not-for-profit associations, including acting as board secretary.
