Kain C+C Lawyers has announced the appointment of Rebecca Halkett and James Burchnall to the position of Director in their Adelaide office.

Ms Halkett specialises in competition and consumer law. She has acted both for the ACCC in prosecuting contraventions of, and for various companies in resolving alleged contraventions of, the Competition and Consumer Act. Ms Halkett regularly trains and advises clients on pro active compliance regimes for the Competition and Consumer Act.

She has over 10 years of experience in managing large and complex litigation in the health & medical, property, construction & infrastructure and automotive industries.

Mr Burchnall has an enviable track record in public and private mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and advising on listed company compliance and corporate governance. He has more than a decade of experience working in top-tier corporate law firms in Melbourne, London and most recently Adelaide.
